Alad Mining & Development Corporation (AMDC) has been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission since 2003. The company has produced high quality calcium carbonate (CaCO3) material for the paper industry in Japan and other industries in the Philippines, and extensive mining development has been implemented and pursued to assure a stable supply of such materials. Currently, Alad Mining is in the process of producing and marketing internationally acceptable quality marble blocks and marble furniture, including natural pebbles, for the construction, furniture and landscaping industry.
The Company has two main quarries of operation in the MIMAROPA region in the Philippines. One is located at the Caray-Caray area of Romblon, and the other at Alad Island, also located in the province of Romblon.
